If you have a WordPress website or blog, it’s a safe bet that you’ve spent time or money, (perhaps both) to get the design the way you want, the plugins and settings that will work best for you, and all of the original content that you’ve uploaded over time. Yes, I’ve had that primal scream moment when this happened to me, but now I have a plan to back up my site/blog on a regular basis and so should you. Why? Think of all of the valuable information, data, and images you are at risk to lose if your hard drive crashes.

Just as backing up your data on your computer is important, backing up your WordPress website or blog to safeguard your content is essential. Yes, it’s another task to work into your busy schedule. But think about the time and energy you’ve invested in building your site or blog. I’m sure losing your content will result in some level of anxiety for you. It would for anyone.
